Top Ten in 2010

Happy New Year Everyone!!!  I can not believe that it is 2011 already!  Wishing everyone a safe and happy new year!

Wolf Family Top Ten in 2010:

1. Sawyer David Wolf joins our family!  May 12, 2010  8 pounds 4 oz.  19.5 inches long  Such a little blessing!

2.  Hayden assumes his new role as BIG brother!  He adjusted quickly and loves Sawyer so much.

3. Cullen finishes our basement.  A long 2 year project comes to an end!  He did a great job.

4. Hayden gets a new room and sleeps in a big boy bed!

5.  We vacationed at Table Rock Lake with family!

6. Summer Fun Days (corn on the cob, State Fair, new swing set, lazy days in the pool)

7. Hayden's language/vocabulary grows by leaps and bounds!  He talks our ears off daily and makes up songs and sings constantly!  Wouldn't have it any other way though.

8. Fall Fun: Halloween costumes (Hayden as Sheriff Woody, and Sawyer as a Pea Pod), pumpkin carving, and visiting the Omaha Zoo with Taylor and Lacey   

9. POTTY TRAINING failures and successes!  We started training Hayden around the age of 2 when he showed a lot of interest.  Add a new baby, and a strong willed child, and almost a year later we are finally potty trained!!  We had tried everything- sticker charts, treats, prizes, toy incentives, consequences, and finally we realized that we had just started too early with him.  BUT-For the last week, Hayden has worn underwear, and told us when he has to go to the bathroom, with only one accident.  The big breakthrough was when Cullen took him shopping for superhero underwear last week!  :)  So thankful that we are finally able to put him in underwear and trust him (for the most part!)

10. Sitting up, sippy cup, and ready to move!!  

Sawyer is 7.5 months now, has two cute little teeth on the bottom, and is so close to crawling.  He pulls up on all fours and moves his back leg forward and then dives forward with the rest of his body.  I was really hoping he would actually do it for me while I was home this week with the boys, and he has tricked me several times thinking "Oh this is it!"  But he hasn't done it yet.  He's got two days left...!  Haha!  It should be soon, and when he does the real trouble starts!  Chasing two...oh goodness!  :-)
