Apple Orchards & Pumpkin Patches- Is it really October??

We had a great "Fall Inspired" weekend this past weekend.   I had an extra day off due to just finishing conferences, so on Friday I took the boys to Center Grove Apple Orchard in Cambridge, Iowa.  The weather was beautiful and we had a great time meeting friends from church and getting to go on the Farm and Apples tour.   Hayden loved getting to pick his own apple!  He had the best face after picking his apple, like he didn't really think he would get one until it was actually in his hand!  On Saturday, we went to Howell's Pumpkin Patch near Cumming, Iowa with my parents.  My mom knows the lady that owns it and it has started to become somewhat of a tradition for us to go there in the fall, (second year in a row).  The weather really changed by Saturday, and as you will see in the pictures, we had to really bundle up Sawyer.  Grandma Kris got him the fuzzy blue hat when he was born, and this was the first time he wore it.  He looked really cute, but a little silly in it also!  Haha!  I love fall and all it means, cooler weather (but NO snow thank you very much~!) pumpkins, apples, costumes, and family time!  :)

Hayden's first pony ride!  He was so excited!  His pony's name was Ruby.

Mommy's hands full on her first "field trip" by herself!  Could have used a few more hands!
